How To Protect Your Camera Lens | CHEAPLY!
How to protect your camera lens cheaply using this rain cover I purchased off eBay. Not only does it protect your lens from rain, but I also found it protects from dust and sand as well. When using push/pull zoom lenses during windy conditions this can get problematic. Quite often when I’m photographing birds or wildlife from a low point of view close to the ground I’d get sand or dust into my lens’ zoom section. This well and truly fixes that problem!

Nikon D850 Astrophotography | Close Encounters?
In this Nikon D850 astrophotography video I head out to the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia. On the front of the D850 I used the Nikon AF-S 14-24mm F2.8G lens. Due to my location and the strange lights I got on the horizon, the final image looked like something from the Close Encounters of Third Kind movie. I had a heap of fun on this night and the 45MP Nikon D850 as always gave me great image quality.

Nikon D750 ICM Photography
In this video I use my Nikon D750 to do some ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) photography. Using a long lens I decided to see what type of patterns I could get by the seaside. The lens I used on the D750 is the Nikon AF-S 80-400mm F4.5-5.6 VR. The ND’s I used are the Kase KW Revolution Magnetic filters.
Nikon D750 ICM Photography can be so much fun! I ended up with images containing different hues of blue and aqua. I even show in the video how they would look in a beach theme room setting.

Nikon D850 | Photographing Sooty Oystercatchers
In this video I use my Nikon D850 + Nikon AF-S 200-500mm F5.6 lens to photograph Sooty Oystercatchers. These birds are truly amazing in the way they feed and unique colourings. This is the first time I’ve tried using the Nikon AF-S 200-500mm F5.6 lens on my D850 for bird photography as I experiment to find a new long telephoto lens for my Nikon cameras.
Nikon D850 – Sooty Oystercatchers are endemic to Australia. I was surprised to learn these birds are rare here in my part of the world. They’re even endangered in New South Wales in Australia. That’s such a shame.

Nikon D750 50mm Astrophotography
In this Nikon D750 50mm astrophotography video I talk about how cheap and easy it is to get amazing results with this astrophotography set up. The D750 is awesome in low light situations. I find the camera and the 24MP sensor excels at astrophotography. The Nikon 50mm F1.8G lens I bought for approximately $100 second hand.
The Nikon D750 50mm astrophotography video actually gave me a few surprises. Firstly the sharpness and clarity I got in the shot and second how easy it was to post process.
