Day 6 Cook Islands

Unfortunately it rained for most of the day so I was only able to grab the odd shot here and there such as water droplets on tropical flowers.  Some more ND filter shots with the rough surf and shoreline looked pretty cool.  My foot/ankle came good overnight so was happy to be mobile again.

When I thought all was lost for the day due to the bad weather, the skies cleared in the late afternoon so I was able to finally get that elusive sunset shot.  Found a beautiful beach with pure white sand, dead still water and palm trees aligning the shoreline.  Made for some super nice shots.

Tonight I am attempting to do a star trail shot which will happen over one of the small islands in the lagoon.  Wish me luck for more clear skies 🙂
