Nikon Z50 + Tamron 70-300mm Z Review | It’s GREAT, BUT…
In this video I pair the Nikon Z50 with the new release Tamron Z 70-300mm 4.5-6.3 Di III RXD lens. It certainly takes some amazing images in the right light, BUT I have just one issue with it. That issue can be sorted pretty easily though. Because of the Z50 1.5 crop factor, the lens transforms into 105mm to 450mm. This comes in very handy in a lot of situations where you need that bit of extra reach. Things like travel, landscape, bird and wildlife photography.
Given the Tamron Z 70-300mm is relatively low budget, I think this maybe a very good light weight and compact telephoto alternative for those with Nikon crop sensor cameras. So for hiking or jetting around the world and wanting to keep weight down, this Nikon Z50 + Tamron 70-300mm Z lens combo might be ideal.
