    Nikon D850 Photographing Belt Of Venus. In this video I use my Nikon D850 + Nikon AF-S 14-24mm F2.8G lens to photograph the Belt of Venus. One thing I love about the D850 is its amazing dynamic range and colours for landscape photography. It is by far my fav camera for doing landscape. There may be some of you saying what in the world is the Belt of Venus? Answer is in the video.

  • Nikon D850 | Making The Most Of A Bad Situation!

    I was out with my Nikon D850 recently and was on vacation at the time with my wife. Innocently, I forgot to take all my photo gear with me, aka camera bag, tripod, filters, pano gear etc on an outing. Reason for that was because I did not intend to use the D850 for any “real” photography per se. More of a recon mission sussing out locations and getting ideas of framing etc. The weather however abruptly turned ugly and a massive rain storm came towards us from across the ocean. It was SPECTACULAR! But I did not have all my D850 gear 🙁 I made the most of bad situation and ended up doing a pano handheld. I thought it turned out pretty well considering…

    I do love my Nikon D850 for landscape photography. In this video I show how I used the camera to take this dramatic long exposure landscape photography shot and turn it into a black and white fine art piece in post processing using Lightroom and Photoshop.
